old news: Samsung's 'Design A Horse Contest' [link]

yeah... so there was this 'Design A Horse Contest' that was open to only the CD075 batch of The One Academy students organized by Samsung to promote the KL Grand Prix 2007. It was compulsory for all the CD075 students to participate as it will be considered as part of our final project. There were five categories: Stylish, Human, Dynamic, Passionate and Imaginative. We had to form teams of three, select a category and submit at least one design. Long story short, my team's design(2 designs actually) was quite unexpectedly shortlisted and one of it was eventually selected for the final five. Honestly didn't see that coming...
So, all five teams spent four days cooped up in Sunway Pyramid painting their life-sized fiber-glass horse, which btw, is not as easy as it sounds.(my wrist was sore for the next few days and some ppl actually fell sick) when we were done with the horses, they have it transported to Bintang Walk in KL where ppl will see the horses and vote for their favourite horse.
Anyway, the contest has ended and the winner was the passionate horse.(my hunch was right...)  Overall, i think it was quite a fun experience, but i don't think i want to do it again anytime in the near future.    ooh... btw, all finalist gets a shinny brand new Samsung YP-K3 MP3 player.
